Send Your 2008 "Salute to Excellence" Nominations to HAI

HAI is now accepting nominations for its 2008 "Salute to Excellence" awards. 

Every year HAI presents 13 "Salute to Excellence" awards recognizing the outstanding achievement and contributions of companies and individuals who have advanced the international helicopter community.   All winners will be recognized at the annual "Salute to Excellence" awards celebration, which will be held during HELI-EXPO 2008 in Houston, Texas.

HAI encourages both members and nonmembers to submit a nomination for any individual or organization.  By acknowledging the exceptional merit of an individual or organization, HAI's "Salute to Excellence" celebration encourages continued achievement and attaining the highest standards of professionalism in the helicopter industry.

How do you submit your nomination? Contact HAI and we will mail you a 2008 Call for Nominations booklet or simply download one on our Web site.  It's easy, just go to www.rotor.com then click 'membership' and then click 'Salute to Excellence.'  Nominations may be submitted through the Web site, or you may download the appropriate nomination form and mail it to Helicopter Association International, 1635 Prince Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314-2818, or fax it to 703-683-4745.  Remember to include supporting documents with your nomination, but please do not send electronic materials, such as videotapes, DVDs, or CD-ROMs at this time.

HAI requires all nominees acknowledge in writing that they are aware of their nomination, and if selected, that they would be willing to share biographical information and photos with HAI, as well as accept the award in person at the "Salute to Excellence" banquet.  If the recipient is unable to attend the banquet, they must designate a person to accept on their behalf.  An acknowledgement form is available in the nominations booklet and online.
