DART Helicopter Services announced today that their affiliated partner, DART Aerospace Ltd, a world leader in designing, engineering and manufacturing of helicopter accessories, has received STC approval validating installation of DART's Heli-Utility-BasketTM in Brazil. AS 350/355 DART Heli-Utility-BasketTM is also approved by Transport Canada, FAA, LBA (Germany), DGAC (France), Italy and Denmark. EC 130 DART Heli-Utility-BasketTM is approved by Transport Canada and the FAA.
The DART Heli-Utility-BasketTM offers a practical solution for operators looking to increase cargo capacity, without compromising cabin space. Installation is quick and easy using either bolt on or optional pip pin kits. The DART Heli-Utility-BasketTM is designed to be LH/RH interchangeable, or operators may choose to install one on each side of the aircraft for added utility. Constructed using stainless steel with a high gloss, scratch resistant finish, and completed with a self locking handle, the DART Heli-Utility-BasketTM is ideal for operators servicing contracts for heliskiing and forestry services operations. The DART Heli-Utility-BasketTM for the AS 350/355 and EC 130 are available in multiple configurations.
Both high volume and low volume solutions feature a split lid for increased clearance between the open lid and the aircraft fuselage, allowing compatibility with sliding doors and side cargo compartment extenders.
